Privacy policy

This policy explains what information FIXCARD (“we”, “us”) collects through www.fixcard.io, why we collect it and what we do with it. If you have a question about it, email us at matthew@fixcard.io.

It covers this website only. Information that our customers process with Gyver, such as their service calls and job data, is covered by our agreements with those customers.

What we collect

• When you book a demo or email us: your name, work email, company, phone number if you give it, the type of business you run, and anything you choose to tell us in your message.
• When you visit the site: privacy-friendly analytics about which pages are visited, counted in aggregate and without cookies, and the technical logs our hosting provider keeps to run the site securely, such as IP addresses and browser types.

How we use it

• To reply to you, arrange a demo and follow up on it.
• To understand how the site is used, so we can improve it.
• To keep the site secure and working.

We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for advertising.

Why we’re allowed to use it

We use the details you send us because you asked us to get back to you. We run analytics and keep logs because we have a legitimate interest in running a secure, useful website, and we keep that use to the minimum it needs.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of providers who handle information on our behalf and only as we instruct:

• Vercel, which hosts this website and provides its analytics.
• FormSubmit, which delivers the demo form to our inbox.
• Our email provider, which stores our correspondence with you.

These providers may process information in other countries. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards they offer for international transfers. We’ll also share information if the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

We keep your details for as long as we need them to respond to you and follow up, and then delete them. If you become a customer, our customer agreement takes over.

Cookies

This site doesn’t use cookies for advertising or to track you across other websites.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email matthew@fixcard.io and we’ll respond as quickly as we can. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority where you live.

Children

This site is for businesses and isn’t aimed at children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
